About this workshop
Discover the art of leather craft by creating a journal that is entirely your own. Start by choosing your leather cover and paper inserts, then personalize your piece through a selection of colors, strings, charms and decorative details. Guided through the process, you’ll learn how the different elements come together while having the freedom to follow your own style and intuition. More than simply assembling a journal, the workshop is an introduction to the pleasure of working with leather and creating something by hand. You’ll leave with a functional, personal piece made by you a journal designed to carry your notes, sketches, ideas and stories wherever you go.
Caroline Josvli is the founder and leather designer behind JOSVLI, a Jakarta-based design house she founded in 2017. With nearly a decade of experience, her work is rooted in a deep appreciation for Indonesian craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and pieces made to last beyond passing trends. Through her leather-craft workshops, Caroline brings this philosophy into a more personal and hands-on experience, inviting participants to discover the material, explore their creativity, and create something uniquely their own.
