About this workshop
There is an old intelligence in knotting. Before writing, before machines, human hands were tying things together, creating structure, pattern, and meaning from nothing but cord and intention.
In this workshop, you will learn the essential knots of macramé and use them to build a small bag, a bag made entirely from cotton rope, tied and shaped by your hands into something that has its own personality, its own way of standing in the world.
No experience needed. The knots will come. And with them, something unexpected, a quiet focus, a rhythm, a satisfaction in making something that holds together.

There's a quiet meditation in the rhythm of knotting, a calming that happens when your hands know what to do. I guide participants step by step while leaving room for each person to add their own touch. What they bring home isn't just a bag; it's proof that patience and repetition, done with intention, can become something genuinely beautiful.
